Have a serger? Bring along with white or cream thread and help us create pillowcases for the Flying J Ranch. We are working with Ashland Chapter for Snuggled in Hope which is a nonprofit 501(3)c where volunteers create quilts and pillowcases for medically challenged youth campers and families that attend the Flying Horse Farms in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Each week a like group of campers get to spend time with other campers that face the same medical challenges as they do while remaining safe with a complete medical staff that specializes in their medical challenge. It is an amazing facility! In the process, between 800 and 900 bunks are outfitted with a one of a kind quilt and pillowcase for that camper to take home with them to remember their fun times at camp and to take with them to future treatments, if needed.

Somewhere Sewing will provide the fabric kits to create quick and easy pillowcases to be presented to Flying J. Ranch. Want to help and don't have a serger? I will have some extra machines set up; we always need hands to help complete the process (finishing seams, pressing, and more).

Extra quilts you would like to donate to this cause I am sure would be most appreciated!

We do ask that you REGISTER as LUNCH IS PROVIDED WITH THIS EVENT. Need to know how much to prepare for in food and kits to stitch up. If we run out of kits, we'll cut more!
