Cosmic - A Modern Welsh Quilt is 96" x 96". Suggested Ruler for Flying Geese portion would be Studio 180 Designs Wing Clipper 1 since is gives you multiple sizes to create your Geese, as there are different sizes within this quilt. If you own ruler(s) that will allow you to cut the sizes in the pattern, bring those.
OTHER SUPPLIES:
- Sewing Machine with foot pedal and cord
- 1/4" foot
- Lunch/Beverage/Snacks (gotta keep your sewing strength up!)
- Rotary cutter and small mat for trimming at your station
- Pins, scissors for trimming, seam ripper
- Other favorite necessities for sewing
BEFORE CLASS: Pre-cutting would be helpful. The first month, Jeri will be teaching Months 1 and 2 in our first session.
The precutting chart is for the entire quilt. You may cut all of it
ahead (and store the pieces in marked plastic bags) or as we go. Each
month Jeri will let you know what to bring to the next gathering for the
blocks we will be working on that month.
