Description

Homestead Heritage is a collection from Marilyn Lee featuring all the best scenes of cabin life. A plump calico cat dozes off on a colorful braided rag rug purring contentedly dreaming of mice. Outside, the honking of geese echoes as they arrow across the sky, their wings beating southward in perfect formation. The cabin hums with quiet contentment—the crackle of the fire, the cat’s soft purring and the distant cry of migrating birds. It is a haven against the coming cold, where even the hidden mouse knows it has found a snug refuge. This collection captures these scenes in lovely prints that will make the coziest of quilts.
